Dear Colleagues,
UNION LEARNING REP COURSES
Our branch needs Union Learning Representatives (ULR) throughout BT, if we are going to make a success of the exciting and government funded initiative, in partnership with BT, now open to us to provide essential skills and a potential array of other learning opportunities to union members.
ULR's provide the link between the workplace and the learning centre, referring and keeping colleagues informed about the courses offered. You will learn everything you need to know by taking this course and you will then be an accredited ULR. The ULR is an established role in BT, just as Health & Safety and Branch reps are and reasonable time must be given to ULR's, by the employer, to perform duties.
Paid leave is available for these following courses. So if you're interested, fill the form overleaf and return it to the branch office.
| 6th to 10th March 2006 | Stage 1 - Alvescot |
| 15th to 19th May 2006 | Stage 2 - Alvescot |
If you require further information please ring the branch office.
Yours sincerely,
Tim O'Reilly
Ass Secretary
