IT Level One Course
The following course is available as a result of the CWU's Union Learning Project. The first point of application should be via your local Union Learning Rep or local CWU Branch Office. In some cases time off for learning has been negotiated with the employer. Your Branch Office will be able to give you details of any such agreements.
Courses are being run at various times of day to suit various work patterns. If you are seeking time off to attend a course you must get agreement from your manager before attending.
The Colindale House Learning Centre, 'aChieve With Us', is now able to offer you a placement on the next programme of courses.
This will be IT Level One and will run for 12 weeks, from Wednesday 2nd May 2007 to Wednesday 18th July 2007 from 4pm to 6.30pm at the Colindale House Learning Centre, Room 327 3rd Floor, Colindale House SSC, The Hyde, Edgware Road, Colindale, NW9 6LB.

You will need to be available to attend for the full duration of the course to ensure completion and obtain the relevant accreditation. If you would like to be placed on this course, please check with your manager first. If the course times fall within your regular attendance patterns you will need to ensure that any release time needed for travelling and attending is agreed.
Please reply to this e-mail as quickly as possible as the centre is able to cater for a maximum of 18 students, however there is a minimum requirement of 12 students to enrol otherwise the course will not be viable to run.
All replies received will be filed and as soon as there are enough students to form a class a confirmation e-mail/letter/telephone call (as applicable) will advise you of securing a place. In the event of the course being over subscribed you will be notified of further courses as and when they become available.
Further courses at the Colindale House Learning Centre will be announced in due course. The day of the week and times of day that subsequent courses are run on can be arranged to suit the demand.
