BT Pay Rise 2008

And don't forget to vote in the Officer and Executive Elections!

Letters to Branchs 289-08 gives details of the BT pay rise for 2008. A pay rise of 4.3% has been achieved as part of the two year plan that was agreed in April 07 which based the rise on the RPI figure release on April 15th plus half a percent.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR YOU:-

• Over the past two years pay rises amounting to 9% have been acheived.
  
• With this years rise, typical examples of the new rates will be:
  B2 on Max £23,593
  C3 on Max £30,299
  
• With the current agreement on London Weighting and increase of 75% of the percentage pay rise will see 3.225% rise:
  Inner London £3,185
  Outer London £1,537

  It cannot be dismissed that the two year deal on Pay that was agreed last year has achieved a major increase for all members over that period and has to be attributed largely to the executive teams.

  Without any doubt this should be considered strongly at the time of the elections and shoul be yet another encouragement for you to vote.
